My philosophy

​

Design, to me, is a fundamental human need. It’s no coincidence that we decorate our homes, paint the walls of our cities, and feel more comfortable in atmospherically designed restaurants than in grey canteens.

Beyond that, design is an expression of being. Since early times, humans have used art and painting to visualize their thoughts and their relationship with the world. Design is therefore deeply rooted in our history and identity.

For this reason, I see design not merely as a craft or an aesthetic discipline, but as a meaningful contribution to society — and also as a form of self-realization.

What is our task as designers?

Our task is to develop our own language —
a language that transcends boundaries, functions independently of origin or education, and speaks where words fall short.
When design is successful, it is understood by those we aim to reach.
Through a consistent visual language, we can connect people who share similar interests, values, and worldviews — intuitively and directly.

Especially in fashion, I see the power to support people in their self-expression.
Through conscious design, we create orientation in a complex world — and give individuals a sense of belonging.

 

About me  ​

​

I graduated in Germany. 

Specializing more and more in designing and technical implementation in Illustrator and Photoshop helped me a lot developing my own asthetic.

I was also very enthusiastic about cutting and I attended voluntary modules that opened up the endless possibilities of fashion to me. 

 

As a tutor in illustration I learned to share my knowledge and also to achieve great results in a team. In all the voluntary projects, I have been able to demonstrate my ability to work in a team, which I have enjoyed very much. 

 

In my 4 month internship in a tailor's atelier I learned to respond to customers and improved my sewing skills. I was allowed to participate in the design process and implement my own designs. In another internship at Marina Eerrie I got insight into the world of luxurious fashion.

 

Working as a Stylist at Lookiero I got insight into the commercial world and proved target group intuition. 

Due to my positive performance, I was promoted to supervisor.

Who am I?

​

My friends describe me as an energetic and optimistic person. I am really passionate about my work and I am always trying to improve. In this process I am open to critics and input. My surrounding I try to influence with my joy and motivation.

My aesthetic​​

​

As you have probably seen, I have two different design styles. Both styles are me and both represent me equally. The first one is very colorful and playful like in the "Strawberry Cheesecake Collection". This side mostly comes out in summer and should give that weightless feeling of youth, of eating a juicy watermelon in the sun. It also represents my positive and fun mindset.

​

The second style philosophy is dark, searching and rebellious. To provoke is one of its goals. You may have seen this in the collection "Bad Reputation" or "Sweet justice". It makes the wearer feel empowered and strong, and sexy and seductive. 

​

In the collection "Xenophilia" these styles enter into symbiosis.

What does fashion mean to me? 

​

Fashion is one of the most beautiful arts for me, because it surrounds us all the time and it makes our world even more colorful and beautiful. 

Through fashion you can express your personality and reveal yourself without saying a word.

But even more than that, it allows you to represent yourself the way you would like to be seen and it can embody what you would like to become.
